Showfield opens at 8:30am - Judging begins at 11:00am - Awards at 3:30pm

The rumors that you’ve heard are entirely true: the Valley Forge Region will indeed have a dealer show after all for the 2010 season. And not only will it be the inaugural show at this location, but it marks the return of the Valley Forge Region to a dealer show location in New Jersey—and a venerable group of dealers at that. Holman owns a sizable array of dealerships in the greater Philadelphia area, but this Cadillac outlet in Mt. Laurel, NJ (until recently, DeSimone Cadillac) could be said to represent something of a crown jewel acquisition, given that Holman now has an outlet for General Motors’ top of the line marque.

Ronnie Hux, whom we all are aware knows a thing or three about dealer shows, is the coordinator for this inaugural event. He and immediate past president Marty Watkins negotiated the deal and brought it to recent fruition: thanks to both of you for your labors in this endeavor. For whatever reason, there’s always some trepidation that arises whenever an event in New Jersey is announced: maybe it’s the Jersey Devil, the car eating macadam monsters known as traffic circles, or just that New Jersey apart from the turnpike represents terra incognito to the average VFR member. Well, fear not: if you come from the west side of the Delaware, and you’re able to get to either I-295 or the New Jersey Turnpike by fair means or foul, you’re practically there.

Oh, yeah: the fees are unchanged from last year, so money shouldn’t be much of an object either. The deadline is 17 April!
