The 2017 Grand National Meet is shaping up to be one for the record books in terms of attendance and participation. Seminars

There will be four technical seminars; two on Thursday, August 3, and two on Friday, August 4 at 1 PM and 2 PM. The tentative schedule is as follows:

Thursday, August 3, at 1 PM: Joe Schiavone, now retired antique auto restorer, will conduct a seminar on the process of body and fender repair for restoration. Joe will discuss the various techniques he used for many years in his restoration business. Ample time will be allowed for questions.

Thursday, August 3, at 2 PM: TBD

Friday, August 4 at 1 PM: Greg Surfas once again provides insights into the world of climate control in collector autos. Greg has been kind enough to do this seminar for a number of years and is well attended by owners of the newer vintage cars with complex air and heat controls.

Friday, August 4 at 2 PM: PM...Joe Schiavone provides direction in the process of painting old cars. Joe has used most paint systems over the past 30 years except for the newer water based systems. He plans on an overview with questions after. A must for the do-it-yourself restorer.

In addition, Mr. Schiavone, who is presenting two of the seminars, wants to make his seminars as interesting as possible, and to that end, he would like to invite people who plan to attend either or both of his seminars to contact him by e-mail at racerjoe7@gmail.com and tell him what subjects or topics they would like to have covered in his presentation.
